why my desktop public

Why is my desktop public?

Okay this may only serve to make me laugh, but it's sure to be a bug. Instead having my desktop set to me as a user, it's under the public folder branch. Which also means it's on auto share. At the moment I'm undecided as to whether or not I like this new addition. I didn't like the auto shares under XP.

That is very strange. I checked mine, and it is not listed under public. My normal user account info is listed under Jay and Jason is my Admin account that I use only when needed.
It should like something like this:

Well at least that tells me it's not that way by default. Now to figure out how fix it.
